Die Kubacher Kristallhöhle in Kubach bei Weilburg, im östlichen Hintertaunus in Hessen, ist eine Klufthöhle im oberdevonischen Kalk. Große Teile der Wände sind mit unzähligen Kalkspatkristallen und Perlsinter besetzt. Der Kristallschmuck der Wände gilt in dieser Form als einzigartig in Deutschland. Mit einer Länge von etwa 170, einer Breite bis zu 26 Metern und bis zu 30 Meter Höhe gilt die Höhle als der größte natürliche untertägige Einzelhohlraum, der in Deutschland zu besichtigen ist. Seine Entstehung hängt mit den Stillwasserfacetten zusammen, die in der Höhle ausgebildet sind – sie deuten auf die Anwesenheit eines stagnierenden kalklösenden Wasserkörpers über längere Zeit hin.
