Die St.-Marien-Kirche in Frankfurt ist die ehemalige Hauptpfarrkirche der Stadt und wurde in mehr als 250 Jahren mittelalterlicher Bautätigkeit errichtet. Das Kirchengebäude gehört zu den größten Gebäuden der norddeutschen Backsteingotik; es ist 77 Meter lang und 45 Meter breit. Die Kirche wurde im Zweiten Weltkrieg in großen Teilen zerstört, konnte in der Folgezeit aber in ihren Grundzügen rekonstruiert werden. Heute ist die St.-Marien-Kirche ein soziokulturelles Zentrum und Wahrzeichen der Stadt.
