Der Bahnhof Heppenheim der Stadt Heppenheim liegt an der Bahnstrecke Heidelberg–Frankfurt am Main . Wochentags ist der Bahnhof mit einer InterCity-Verbindung an das Fernverkehrsnetz der Deutschen Bahn AG angeschlossen.
Eröffnet wurde der Bahnhof im Zuge der abschnittsweisen Eröffnung der Main-Neckar-Bahn am 22. Juni 1846: Langen – Darmstadt – Heppenheim. Im Zuge der Badischen Revolution war der Bahnhof Angriffsziel und mehrmals besetzt.
