Die Klinik und Poliklinik für Frauenheilkunde und Geburtshilfe Campus Innenstadt ist eine Geburtsklinik und ein international anerkanntes Zentrum zur Behandlung von gynäkologischen Krebserkrankungen in München.
Das Lehrkrankenhaus in der Maistraße , das Teil der Medizinischen Fakultät der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München ist, wurde auf Betreiben des Frauenarztes Albert Döderlein 1916 von Ludwig III. als Königliche Universitätsfrauenklinik und Hebammenschule eröffnet, da die bisherige Frauenklinik an der Sonnenstraße 24-26 nicht mehr den aktuellen hygienischen und räumlichen Erfordernissen entsprach.
