Das Bistum Speyer ist eine Diözese der römisch-katholischen Kirche. Sie nimmt den Süden des Bundeslandes Rheinland-Pfalz ein, wo sie die gesamte Pfalz – in den Grenzen vor der Gebietsreform von 1969 – umfasst sowie den Saarpfalz-Kreis, die Ostertalstadtteile Osterbrücken, Hoof, Niederkirchen, Bubach, Marth und Saal der Kreisstadt St. Wendel und die Saarbrücker Stadtteile Eschringen und Ensheim im Osten des Saarlandes. Das Bistum umfasst somit die Pfalz in den Grenzen von vor 1920.
Der Bischofssitz befindet sich in der pfälzischen Stadt Speyer am Rhein. Das Bistum Speyer ist Suffraganbistum des Erzbistums Bamberg, der Speyerer Bischof ist Mitglied der Freisinger Bischofskonferenz.
