Das Observatorium Hoher List ist ein Observatorium etwa 60 km süd-südwestlich von Bonn nahe der Stadt Daun auf dem in der Eifel gelegenen Berg Hoher List .
Die Bonner Sternwarte wurde von Friedrich Wilhelm August Argelander begründet. Seine Freundschaft zum Preußenkönig Friedrich Wilhelm IV. verhalf ihm zu ihrem Bau, der in den Jahren 1840 bis 1844 durch Karl Friedrich Schinkel erfolgte. Argelander ging durch seine berühmte Bonner Durchmusterung, die in einem Sternkatalog mit 325.000 Sternen resultierte, in die Annalen der Astronomie ein.
