Broetje-Automation ist 1979 aus dem Rasteder Unternehmen August Brötje für Maschinenbau und Heiztechnik hervorgegangen. Seit 2016 gehört es zur chinesischen Shanghai Electric Group. Das Unternehmen ist an 23 Standorten international vertreten.
