Die ca. 19 km lange Tour beginnt am Historischen Rathaus in Rietberg und führt vorbei am Naturschutzgebiet Rietberger Fischteiche mit Aussichtsturm und Infotafel, an der Johanneskapelle, Rietbergs wohl bedeutenstem Baudenkmal, und am Naherholungsgebiet Mastholter See.Weiter führt die Route zum schönen Ortskern von Mastholte. Hier befindet sich das Heimathaus Mastholte und die Pfarrkirche St. Jakobus. Für diejenigen, die noch ein paar Kilometer mehr fahren möchten, besteht die Möglichkeit die Route mit der Route Bokel zu kombinieren.
