Der Pass von El Pertús ist einer der Pässe, die es ermöglichen, die Pyrenäen zu überqueren. Mit nur 290 m Höhe verbindet er die katalanischen Landkreise L'Alt Empordà und El Vallespir. Er bildet das westliche Ende des Gebirges L'Hostober.
Er liegt hoch - im Norden - des städtischen Zentrums der Gemeinde El Pertús, das im Norden sogar über ihn hinausgeht, sodass der Pass selbst innerhalb des Stadtgebiets liegt. Der Pass selbst befindet sich sehr nahe dem Punkt, an dem die Straße nach Westen die Straße zur Kirche abzweigt.
