Girona [ʒiˈɾonə] ist eine spanische Stadt im Nordosten Kataloniens. Sie hat fast 102.000 Einwohner und ist Hauptstadt der Provinz Girona und der Comarca Gironès.
Girona liegt an der Mündung des Onyar in den Ter . Auch auf dem Stadtgebiet münden die Flüsschen Güell in den Ter und Galligants in den Onyar.
