Santa Marta de Tormes ist ein westspanischer Ort und eine Gemeinde mit 14.805 Einwohnern im Osten der Provinz Salamanca in der Region Kastilien und León.Der ca. 780 m hoch gelegene Ort Santa Marta de Tormes liegt auf dem Südufer des Río Tormes im Süden der altkastilischen Hochebene . Die Großstadt Salamanca ist nur gut 4 km in nordwestlicher Richtung entfernt. Das Klima im Winter ist durchaus kühl; die geringen Niederschlagsmengen fallen – mit Ausnahme der eher trockenen Sommermonate – verteilt übers ganze Jahr.
