Esplugues de Llobregat [əsˈpluɣəs ðə ʎʊβɾəˈɣɑt] ist eine katalanische Stadt in der Provinz Barcelona im Nordosten Spaniens. Sie liegt in der Comarca Baix Llobregat. Sie gehört zur Metropolregion Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona.
Esplugues liegt am Unterlauf des Llobregat im Ballungsraum von Barcelona. Durch seine Lage am Fuße der Bergkette Serra de Collserola ist es nach starken Regengüssen regelmäßig durch Überschwemmungen gefährdet. Das Klima ist mediterran mit heißen Sommern und geringen Niederschlägen; diese aber konzentriert auf das Frühjahr und Herbst.
