Cabacés ist eine spanische Gemeinde in der Provinz Tarragona, die in der katalanischen Comarca Priorat an der Grenze zur Ribera de Ebro liegt.
Während der sarazenischen Besetzung trug es den Namen Avincabasser. Nach der Rückeroberung, die vom Grafen von Barcelona durchgeführt wurde, wurde es in die Gemeinde Ciurana de Tarragona eingegliedert. Am 24. April 1149 schloss Ramón Berenguer IV eine Schenkung des Gebiets an das Kloster Santa María de Monteflabon in Belgien ab, mit der Absicht, dass die Mönche dort eine Kirche und ein Kloster errichten, um die Wiederbesiedlung zu fördern. Das Kloster hatte eine kurze Lebensdauer, da es 1158 unter die Kontrolle des Bistums Tortosa gestellt wurde. Einige der alten Mönche gründeten das Kloster Bellpuig de las Avellanas in der Gemeinde Os de Balaguer.
