Die Kirche Sant Miquel de Vilageriu befindet sich 500 Meter von der Stadt Tona in der katalanischen Region Osona entfernt. Die Kirche wird auf den Karten des Institut Cartogràfic de Catalunya als Sant Miquel de Vilageliu erwähnt, wird jedoch lokal als Sant Miquel de Vilageriu bezeichnet.
Sie wird im Jahr 958 als in Villa Gerile gelegen erwähnt, da sie von den Herren von Rocafort abhängig war, die ebenfalls Herren von Vilageriu waren.
