Saône ist eine französische Gemeinde mit 3.231 Einwohnern im Département Doubs in der Region Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.Saône liegt auf 397 m, etwa sieben Kilometer ostsüdöstlich der Stadt Besançon . Das Dorf erstreckt sich im westlichen Jura, auf dem sogenannten ersten Plateau am östlichen Rand des Sumpfgebietes Marais de Saône, zwischen den Höhen der Jura-Randkette im Norden und des Grand Mont im Süden.
