Im Kartäuserkloster von Campmol befand sich ein Meisterwerk der Bildhauerkunst, geschaffen von Claus Sluter. Es war bekannt als der Mosesbrunnen (1395). Laut einigen Quellen soll Jan van Eyck dieses Werk hier gesehen haben. Das Kunstwerk zeigte eine große Realitätsnähe. Die Sandsteinfigurengruppe zeigt 4 Propheten, die ein Kreuz über einer Quelle tragen. Das Kloster, in dem es stand, wurde vom Herzog von Burgund gegründet.
