Issoire ist eine französische Stadt mit 15.296 Einwohnern im Département Puy-de-Dôme in der Region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Sie ist Sitz der Unterpräfektur des Arrondissements Issoire und Hauptort des Kantons Issoire.Die Stadt liegt am Fluss Allier, bei der Einmündung seines Nebenflusses Couze Pavin, rund 37 Kilometer südlich von Clermont-Ferrand an der Cevennenbahn und der Autoroute A75.
