Akqueduakte am Canal du Midi ermöglichen es, dass der Kanal natürliche Bäche kreuzt und überquert. Es gibt zwei Ausnahmen, die erste ist das Aquädukt von Herbettes, wo es eine vierspurige Autobahn in Toulouse überquert. Eine weitere Ausnahme ist der Schnittpunkt mit dem Fluss Libron, wo die Überquerung über die Ouvrages du Libron erfolgt.
