Der Puig Neulos ist der höchste Punkt des Albères-Massivs. Er erreicht eine Höhe von 1256 m und markiert die Grenze zwischen Frankreich und Spanien. Von dieser Höhe aus kann man sehr deutlich die vom Meer begrenzte Ebene des Roussillon, die Pyrenäenkette im Westen und die Ebene des Ampurdan erkennen, wo die felsige Küste sanft in der Bucht von Rosas ausläuft.
