Die Kommende von Bajoles war eines der ursprünglichen Klöster des Ordens von St. Johannes von Jerusalem, gelegen im heutigen Gemeindegebiet von Perpignan, nahe dem Kastell Rosselló. Trotz der bekannten Dokumentation wusste man bis vor kurzem nicht einmal den genauen Standort des Hauses oder Sitzes der Kommende, das im 17. Jahrhundert vom Heer Ludwigs XIV. von Frankreich verwüstet wurde. Die Ausgrabungen, die in den letzten Jahrzehnten des 20. Jahrhunderts durchgeführt wurden, lokalisierten nicht nur den Ort, sondern ermöglichten auch die Erstellung eines Grundrisses und das Erkennen wichtiger Details.
