An der Kreuzung der Avenue de la Grande Fontaine und der Avenue du Général de Gaulle thront stolz das Kriegerdenkmal, das vom Bezirk Neufchâteau zu Ehren der Offiziere und Soldaten errichtet wurde, die während des Konflikts von 1870-1871 für das Vaterland gestorben sind, und erinnert an die beiden Worte: "Vergessen... Niemals!"
Das seit Januar 2000 in das Verzeichnis der historischen Monumente eingetragene und kürzlich restaurierte Denkmal ist das einzige Kriegerdenkmal in den Westvogesen, das an diesen Konflikt erinnert. Nach einem Antrag der 437. Sektion der Veteranen, der im August 1899 vom Gemeinderat angenommen wurde, wurde es am 7. Oktober 1900 eingeweiht. Die Bronzestatue, die eine Frau darstellt, symbolisiert "das starke Frankreich in der Haltung der Verteidigung, das bereit ist, das Schwert zu ziehen, um seinen Boden zu schützen".
