Iron Acton ist ein Dorf, eine Zivilgemeinde und ehemaliges Herrenhaus in South Gloucestershire, England. Das Dorf liegt etwa 2 Meilen westlich von Yate und etwa 9 Meilen nordöstlich des Zentrums von Bristol. Die B4058 Straße führte früher durch das Dorf, umgeht es jetzt aber nur noch im Norden.
Der Teil "iron" des Toponyms stammt von dem Eisen, das früher in der Nähe des Dorfes abgebaut wurde. "Acton" leitet sich vom Altenglischen für "Bauernhof mit Eichen" ab. Auch heute gibt es im Dorf neben dem Fluss Frome einen Eichenwald.
