Marksbury ist ein kleines Dorf und eine Bürgergemeinde am östlichen Rand des wohlhabenden Chew Valley in Somerset, etwa 4 Meilen von Keynsham und 7 Meilen von Bath auf der A39, wo sie auf die A368 trifft. Die Gemeinde, zu der die Dörfer Hunstrete und Stanton Prior gehören, hat eine Bevölkerung von 397.
Stantonbury Camp ist der Standort eines Hügelgrabs aus der Eisenzeit in der Nähe von Stanton Prior. Es ist ein geschütztes archäologisches Monument. Das Hillfort, das sich auf einem isolierten Geländevorsprung aus oolitischem Kalkstein befindet, nahe der A39, liegt auf dem Weg der Wansdyke.
