Warwick Castle ist eine mittelalterliche Burg, die sich aus einer von Wilhelm dem Eroberer im Jahre 1068 errichteten Burg entwickelt hat. Warwick ist der Hauptort der Grafschaft Warwickshire in England, der an einer Biegung des Flusses Avon liegt. Die hölzerne Burg wurde im 12. Jahrhundert aus Stein neu gebaut. Während des Krieges wurde die der Stadt zugewandten Seite der Burg neu befestigt und stellt nun eines der bekanntesten Beispiele der Militärarchitektur des 14. Jahrhunderts dar. Die Burg wurde bis zum Anfang des 17. Jahrhunderts als Festung verwendet. Danach wurde sie von Jakob I. im Jahre 1604 an Sir Fulke Greville übertragen, der sie zu einem Landhaus umbaute. Sie blieb im Eigentum der Familie Greville, die im Jahre 1759 zu Grafen von Warwick ernannt wurden, bis sie 1978 von der Tussauds Group gekauft wurde.
