Der Bahnhof Gorton bedient den Stadtteil Gorton der Stadt Manchester, England. Der Bahnhof befindet sich an der Manchester-Glossop-Linie und ist 2 1⁄2 Meilen östlich von Manchester Piccadilly.
Er wurde am 25. August 1906 von der Great Central Railway eröffnet und ersetzte einen früheren Bahnhof, der am 23. Mai 1842 an der Linie eröffnet wurde. Ab dem 1. Januar 1923 wurde der Bahnhof von der London and North Eastern Railway betrieben. Der neue Bahnhof lag an der stark frequentierten Woodhead-Route nach Sheffield Victoria und hatte vier Bahnsteige. Der ursprüngliche Bahnhof befand sich 200 Yards westlich des heutigen Bahnhofs. Bei seiner Eröffnung wurde der neue Bahnhof Gorton und Openshaw benannt und kehrte 1977 zu seinem ursprünglichen Namen zurück. Er wurde in dem Song "Slow Train" von Flanders and Swann aus dem Jahr 1964 als Openshaw bezeichnet. Nur zwei Bahnsteige sind jetzt noch in Betrieb.
