Die Taxiarchis-Kirche ist die malerische Kirche am Hafen von Vathi. Am 6. September wird hier jedes Jahr ein großes Fest gefeiert, um den Schutzheiligen der Kirche sowie den des etwas höher gelegenen Klosters mit dem ähnlichen Namen (Taxiorchon-Kloster) zu feiern. Von der Kirche in Vathi aus kann man die Sonne über den Pass von Katsistria aufgehen sehen und dann dem Aufstieg des Katsistria-Berges in Richtung Süden folgen.
