Teramo [ˈtɛramo] ist die Hauptstadt der gleichnamigen italienischen Provinz Teramo in der Region Abruzzen. In der Stadt wohnen 53.819 Einwohner auf einer Fläche von 151 km² . Sie ist Sitz des römisch-katholischen Bistums Teramo-Atri und Standort der Universität Teramo.
Teramo liegt in einer hügeligen Landschaft, nicht weit vom Gebirgsmassiv des Gran Sasso entfernt, zwischen den Flüssen Tordino und Vezzola.
