La Maddalena ist eine italienische Gemeinde mit 11.051 Einwohnern auf der Inselgruppe La Maddalena vor der Nordostküste Sardiniens in der Provinz Nord-Est Sardegna. La Maddalena grenzt an die Gemeinde Palau.
La Maddalena ist der größte Ort der gleichnamigen Inselgruppe. Zentrum ist die Piazza Umberto I direkt am Hafen. Von dort gibt es Fährverbindungen zur sardischen Hafenstadt Palau. Haupterwerbsquelle der Einheimischen ist der Tourismus.
