Die Kathedrale Maria Santissima Assunta in Palermo ist die Kathedrale des Erzbistums Palermo der Römisch-Katholischen Kirche in der Kirchenregion Sizilien. Sie liegt in der Nähe des Normannenpalasts. Der jetzige Bau wurde 1184/1185 im normannisch-arabischen Stil errichtet und erfuhr im Lauf der Jahrhunderte mehrere Umbauten. Aufgrund ihrer ersten Bauperiode wird sie auch als Normannendom bezeichnet. Für Deutschland ist die Kathedrale von besonderer Bedeutung, da sich dort die Gräber der Stauferkaiser Heinrich VI., Friedrich II. und Königin Konstanze von Sizilien befinden.
