Die Kirche des Unbefleckten Herzens Mariens befindet sich im Stadtteil Porta Maggiore, im Gebiet Caldaie, in Ascoli Piceno.
Die Ascolani, insbesondere die Bewohner von Porta Maggiore, nennen sie normalerweise die "Kirche der Bruderschaft", da die Franziskaner dort zelebrieren.
Die Kirche wurde vom Architekten Vincenzo Pilotti in einem Stil entworfen, der an den Jugendstil und Art déco erinnert, und wurde in fünf Jahren, zwischen 1953 und 1958, erbaut. Die Franziskaner hatten vor dieser Unterbringung von 1912 bis 1955 die Kirche und das Kloster des Karmels zur Verfügung, als sie gezwungen waren, von der Kirche Sant'Egidio in der Corso Mazzini umzuziehen, da diese baufällig war.
