10. und letzte Etappe von Oekene (Roeselare) nach Rom: San Quirico-Roma
Eine Etappe von 140 Kilometern und mit 1368 Höhenmetern durch die Toskana und Latium. Im ersten Teil ist es eine sehr schöne Etappe durch ein vulkanisches Gebiet, entlang drei Kraterseen und dunklem Lavaboden. Dieser erste Teil verläuft meistens über ruhige, hügelige Straßen.
Im zweiten Teil der Etappe werden die Straßen flacher und belebter. Beim Einfahren nach Rom muss man wirklich aufpassen.
