Sonlez ist ein Ortsteil der Gemeinde Winseler im Bezirk Diekirch des Kantons Wiltz. Es ist etwa 45 km von Luxemburg-Stadt entfernt.Sonlez ist zusammen mit Doncols eines von zwei wallonischen Völkern, die während der Gründung der Provinz Luxemburg im Jahr 1839 im Großherzogtum verblieben sind.
