Wilp ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Voorst in der niederländischen Provinz Gelderland. Es ist ein Deichdorf am Deich der IJssel. Die Entfernung zum Fluss beträgt bei einem durchschnittlichen Wasserstand etwa zwei Kilometer. Zwischen Fluss und Dorf liegt die Flusslehmfläche Wilpse Klei. Wilp ist das älteste Dorf der Gemeinde Voorst. Eine erste christliche Kapelle wurde um 765 im Rahmen der Christianisierung der Bewohner durch den angelsächsischen Missionar Liafwin, besser bekannt als Lebuïnus, gegründet. Das heutige Dorf entwickelte sich ab dem dreizehnten Jahrhundert bei der damals neuen Kirche am Veluwse Bandijk. Nach dem Bau der Reichsstraße im neunzehnten Jahrhundert entstand auf der Westseite des Dorfes immer mehr Wohnraum, und im zwanzigsten Jahrhundert wurde das gesamte Gebiet zwischen Deich und Straße bebaut. Wilp hat 2.415 Einwohner.
