Kedichem ist ein Dorf und ehemalige Gemeinde in der Gemeinde Vijfheerenlanden in der niederländischen Provinz Utrecht. Es liegt am Fluss Linge und wurde 1986 landesweit bekannt, als das Hotel Cosmopolite, in dem die Centrumpartij tagte, nach einem Angriff von "Antifaschisten" abbrannte. Kedichem entstand wahrscheinlich um das Jahr 1000 an einem Uferwall entlang der Linge. Da das Gebiet regelmäßig überflutet wurde, wurde es um 1100 eingedeicht. Kedichem gehörte zum Land von Arkel und war regelmäßig Schauplatz von Grenzstreitigkeiten zwischen Holland und Geldern. Nach 1400 wurde Kedichem ein Schoutamt innerhalb des Grafschaft Leerdam.
