Achterveld ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Leusden in der niederländischen Provinz Utrecht. Das Dorf liegt auf halbem Weg zwischen den Orten Leusden und Barneveld in der Gelderner Valei und grenzt an die Provinz Gelderland. Der östliche Außenbereich des Dorfes gehört zur Gelderner Gemeinde Barneveld. Achterveld ist in den 1960er Jahren stark gewachsen und hatte 2021 2.625 Einwohner. Bis zum 1. Juni 1969 gehörte Achterveld zur Gemeinde Stoutenburg, die anschließend in die Gemeinde Leusden eingegliedert wurde. Seitdem hat das Dorf einen Dorfsrat, der den B&W von Leusden berät.
