Nes ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Heerenveen, in der niederländischen Provinz Friesland. Es liegt nordwestlich des Dorfes Heerenveen, direkt neben dem Dorf Akkrum, weshalb auch vom Zwillingsdorf Akkrum-Nes gesprochen wird. Im Jahr 2021 hatte das Dorf 1.045 Einwohner. Zum Dorf gehören auch die Weiler Birstum, Pean und Sorremorre. Nes liegt am Fluss Boorne, wo ursprünglich der Zusammenfluss mit der Zijlroede stattfand.
