De Valom ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Dantumadeel, in der niederländischen Provinz Friesland. Es liegt südlich von Dokkum, zwischen Broeksterwoude und Kuikhorne. Im Jahr 2021 hatte das Dorf 250 Einwohner. Seit 2009 ist der friesische Name der offizielle. Wo zuvor auf den Orts- und Straßenschildern sowohl die friesischen als auch die niederländischen Namen angegeben waren, wird jetzt nur noch der offizielle friesische Name angegeben.
