Vechtensteijn ist ein großes weißes Haus mit einem auffälligen grünen Dach. Die Villa wurde in den mittleren 1930er Jahren auf dem Gelände eines alten Landsitzes erbaut und wurde von dem Zuhause von Freunden in South Carolina, Amerika, inspiriert. Der Park hinter dem Haus wurde von dem berühmten Landschaftsarchitekten J. D. Zocher gestaltet und ist öffentlich zugänglich.
