Das Coornhert-Gymnasium ist ein kategorisches Gymnasium in Gouda. Es ist eine öffentliche Schule mit etwa 720 Schülern aus Gouda und der Umgebung. Die Schule ist nach dem humanistischen Gelehrten Dirck Volkertsz. Coornhert aus dem 16. Jahrhundert benannt, der seine letzten Lebensjahre in Gouda verbrachte.
Das Gymnasium hat seinen Ursprung im 14. Jahrhundert als Pfarrschule bei der Sint-Janskerk. Die Schule wechselte danach mehrmals den Standort und wurde auch in eine Lateinschule umgewandelt. Diese Lateinschule wurde 1888 in ein Progymnasium umgewandelt und 1890 in ein richtiges Gymnasium. Am 4. Januar 1890 nahm das Gymnasium feierlich seinen Betrieb auf und das 'neue' Gebäude an der Haven wurde in Betrieb genommen. Heute befindet sich das Gymnasium an einem Standort außerhalb der historischen Altstadt.
