Die
Sint-Hubertusmühle wurde 1802 auf Auftrag des Landwirts Willem Kerckhoffs
aus Klein Genhout erbaut. Zwischen 1814 und 1826 wurde die Mühle geschlossen und ist seitdem
eine sogenannte geschlossene Standermühle.
Die Mühle
wurde 1928 von der Familie Kerckhoffs an Müller Louis Voncken verkauft.
Die Mühle bleibt bis in die vierziger Jahre des letzten Jahrhunderts in Betrieb und gerät
danach in Verfall. Da nur noch wenig gemahlen wird, verfällt die Mühle
zusehends. 1970 kauft die Gemeinde Beek die Mühle für den symbolischen
Betrag von 1 Gulden. Die Gemeinde restauriert und renoviert die Mühle grundlegend.
Seitdem ist die Hubertusmühle ein nationales Denkmal und eine besondere
Sehenswürdigkeit.
