Die Bollenstreek ist die Region, in der ein großer Teil des niederländischen Blumenzwiebelanbaus stattfindet, gekennzeichnet durch die vielen Blumenfelder. Die Bollenstreek wird vor allem für die Tulpen und in geringerem Maße für die Krokusse, Narzissen und Hyazinthen gepriesen. Die Bollenstreek entwickelte sich Ende des 16. Jahrhunderts und im 17. Jahrhundert. Besonders die Tulpenmanie spielte eine wichtige Rolle in der Entwicklung zu dem, was heute als Bollenstreek bekannt ist.
Im Norden wird das Kennemerland, ein Teilgebiet der Bollenstreek, seit 1865 durch den Nordzeekanal unterbrochen.
