Der Hafen von Harlingen ist der wichtigste Hafen von Friesland. Der Seehafen liegt an der Wattensee.
Der Hafenbetrieb war lange Zeit Teil der Gemeinde Harlingen. Ab 2018 wurde der Dienst selbstständig. Das Unternehmen Port of Harlingen ist seitdem verantwortlich für die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung, die Verwaltung, die Instandhaltung und den Betrieb der Häfen von Harlingen.
