Die Daelsweg von Benzenrade nach Ubachsberg ist eine ansteigende Straße, die in vielen Episoden von Limburgs Mooiste als Abfahrt zum Ziel in der Route enthalten war. Im Jahr 2025 wird es der erste Anstieg sein, den die Fahrer der Oranje Routes, der Gelben und der Blauen Schleife auf ihrer Route antreffen: der Putberg. Der Anstieg ist mehr als zwei Kilometer lang. Maximal beträgt die Steigung 6,1 %, im Durchschnitt 3,4 %. Vor kurzem wurde der Anstieg mit einem breiten Radweg auf der rechten Seite ausgestattet, den sowohl die Bergfahrer als auch die Abfahrer nutzen. In der Mitte befindet sich ein alter Kalkofen, ein aus Kunderstein errichtetes Industriedenkmal, das derzeit restauriert wird.
