Die Wanderroute de Meinvennen liegt östlich von Roermond im deutsch-niederländischen Grenzpark Maas-Swalm-Nette. Diese abwechslungsreiche Route führt über Waldwege, durch Heidelandschaften mit Venn, durch Mooswälder mit Erlen und Birken und entlang von Gagelvennen. Charakteristisch sind die Terrassenränder, die in Tausenden von Jahren durch die Erosion des Urstromtals der Maas entstanden sind. Auf den Terrassen fließen die beiden Bäche Rote Beek und Boschbeek, die in die Rur münden.
