Die Pädagogische Universität Krakau ist die größte und älteste pädagogische Hochschule in Polen.
Die Universität wurde 1946 mit dem Namen Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Pedagogiczna gegründet. Ursprünglich hatte sie Volksschullehrer ausgebildet, seit 1949 bildet sie auch Lehrer für die Mittelstufe aus. 1954 wurde sie als Hochschule anerkannt, 1959 folgte das Promotionsrecht. 1999 wurde sie umbenannt in Akademia Pedagogiczna im. Komisji Edukacji Narodowej w Krakowie. 2008 erhielt sie den heutigen Namen Uniwersytet Pedagogiczny im. Komisji Edukacji Narodowej w Krakowie.
