Der Hollywood Walk of Fame umfasst mehr als 2.500 fünfzackige Terrazzo- und Messingsterne, die in den Bürgersteig entlang von 15 Blocks des Hollywood Boulevards und drei Blocks der Vine Street in Hollywood, Kalifornien, eingelassen sind. Die Sterne sind permanente öffentliche Denkmäler für Leistungen in der Unterhaltungsindustrie und tragen die Namen einer Mischung aus Schauspielern, Musikern, Regisseuren, Produzenten, musikalischen und Theatergruppen, fiktiven Charakteren und anderen. Der Walk of Fame wird von der Hollywood Chamber of Commerce verwaltet und vom selbstfinanzierenden Hollywood Historic Trust gepflegt. Er ist ein beliebtes Touristenziel, mit reported 10 Millionen Besuchern im Jahr 2003.
