The parish church of Ellmau is located in the town center of the municipality of Ellmau in the district of Kufstein in Northern Tyrol. The parish church, dedicated to the Holy Archangel Michael, belongs to the deanery of Kufstein of the Archdiocese of Salzburg. The church and the cemetery with the war memorial are protected as historical monuments.
A church is documented as early as 1215 and 1378. The current Baroque building was constructed from 1740 to 1746 according to plans by the architect and stucco worker Jakob Singer.
