Description

The Vierre reservoir was created and inaugurated in 1965. From the village of Suxy, the Vierre flows to the basin where the water is then diverted for the production of renewable energy. The annual energy production of this complex is about 8 million kWh.

The artificial lake is 35ha in size with a depth of up to 9m and collects about 1.5 million cubic meters of water. With its length of 134m and 12m height, the dam is the second largest dam in Belgium.
