Description

The Moervaart depression, with the cover sand ridge Verrebroek-Gistel on the northern side and on the other side the gradually rising grounds and the Zuidlede as a physical boundary, is the most important structure in this area. The depression contains both grassland complexes, forest complexes, and mosaic landscapes. Each has its characteristic extraction structure.
