Starting at the hamlet "Steenstraete," you follow the existing junction network along the Ieperleekanaal and from Lo-Reninge along the Yser. This route gives you - through its monuments and memorial stones - a beautiful overview of everything that took place here during "the Great War" and the Battle of the Yser. In the last section along the Yser, you cycle through the area that was flooded during the war.
From St Joris-Nieuwpoort, you continue cycling to Bruges.
